How do you celebrate together in summer?
Whether it's Christmas lights, family dinners, camping trips, backyard barbecues, cultural traditions, New Year's celebrations or simply spending time with loved ones, friends or pets, Maitland Libraries wants to hear the stories that make our community shine.
We're inviting local families, children, young people, community groups and individuals to share their favourite summer and end-of-year traditions for the chance to be featured in this year's Walls That Talk exhibition, Let's Shine Together.
Selected stories will be brought to life through a professional photo shoot and transformed into striking photographic panels displayed throughout Maitland City Library from November 2026 to January 2027.
