White Feminism - Koa Beck
Look Who's Talking - Sunday 7 March 1.00pm - 2.00pm - Free
Koa Beck will explore how historically women of colour, indigenous and transgender women have been shut out of the equality debate. This examination looks at why the perception of modern-day feminism has changed and how to push back against the white supremacy, classism and transphobia that has plagued the movement.
Koa beck is the former editor-in-chief of Jezebel and executive editor at Vogue. Her articles have appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Observer and The Guardian.
