Read me a story for kids
Kids can borrow audiobooks on CD or MP3 CD from any one of our local branches or download them from our catalogue straight to a mobile device (probably their parents). With titles from popular authors to classic and modern favourites children can enjoy listening to these stories anytime, anywhere.
Audiobooks are also a great way to get non-readers hooked on stories with plenty of fun and interesting titles to choose from.
Signing into to BorrowBox or RBDigital
If you do find an audiobook in the catalogue, it may take you to one of our providers BorrowBox or RBDigital. It's easy to download an audiobook from these sites. You will just need to have your Library card number and password handy. Once on these sites it is as easy as:
- Signing in using your library card number and library password (your password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYY)
- Searching for an author, title or keyword
- Downloading and start listening.
Each collection also has their own app to make listening easier, just head to your favourite app store to search and download.
