Click and Collect - Reserving Items
We're excited to announce improvements to our Click and Collect service at Maitland Libraries following customer feedback.
Here's how the new reservation process works:
- Find Your Items - Start by browsing our extensive collection of books, DVDs, and more. You can explore our catalogue online to discover the items you'd like to borrow, or search using our App.
- Place a Reservation - Once you've found what you want, click on the "Reserve" button next to the item. You'll need to log in to your library account with your library card number to complete the reservation.
Choose Your Collection Location - During the reservation process, you can select the branch where you would like to collect your items. We have multiple branches for your convenience, Maitland, Rutherford, Thornton or East Maitland - there is a clearly marked reservation shelf in each.
Wait for Notification - After placing your reservation, you will receive a notification via email or SMS when your items are ready to collect. This notification will also include the last date for collecting your items before they return to the shelves.
Collect and Loan - Head to your chosen branch to collect your reserved items. After finding them on the reservation shelf, head to our easy self-loans station with your library card, or chat to our friendly team to loan the item out.
That's it! You've successfully reserved and collected your library items. It's a simple process designed to ensure you can enjoy your favourite books, movies, and more at your own pace.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to make your library experience enjoyable and hassle-free.
