Word Birds
Give your story wings
Let your imagination take flight with this lovely activity. Using this simple bird template, decorate your own bird and imagine the story it might tell you if it could talk.
Where has it been? Who are its friends? What does it eat? Where might they be going on their next adventure?
Write the story on a piece of paper, fold it up in a concertina and thread it through the spot on your bird to become wings. You now have a beautiful Word Bird with its own special story.
You could send a Word Bird to your family or friends, or use it to pass secret messages to someone!
