Shelly Bay Ladies Swimming Circle
Shelly Bay Ladies Swimming Circle
A remarkable friendship
Shelly Bay Ladies Swimming Circle by Sophie Green It's 1982, in a seaside suburb Theresa takes up swimming. She wants to get fit and find a few minutes to herself. Widowed Marie swims at the same beach. With her husband gone, swimming is the one constant in her new life. At 25 years old Leanne only has herself to rely on. She became a nurse to help others, even as she resists help for herself. Elaine has recently moved from England. Far from home and without her adult sons, her closest friend is a gin bottle. As these four women find each they share tears, bluebottle stings and laughter. Read Shelly Bay Ladies Swimming Circle Also by Sophie Green Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club |
