The Kindness Revolution - Hugh MacKay
Look Who's Talking - Wednesday 9 June - 6.00pm - 8.00pm - $27.50
Often described as "the man who explains us to ourselves", Hugh Mackay, one of Australia's most respected social psychologists, has had a 60-year career studying and interpreting Australian social trends.
In his new book, The Kindness Revolution Hugh urges us not to let questions raised during the 2020 lock-downs go unanswered. He points to inspiring displays of kindness and consideration, shared responsibility for the common good and our heightened appreciation of the value of local neighbourhoods and communities as a springboard to becoming renowned as a loving country. He will reflect on his novel, The Question of Love and book The Inner Self to draw out the complexities of what it means to be human.
