Drawing on inspiration and insights from the deep earth and from an intense connection with the land, Cassandra O’Loughlin’s poetry anthology Take My Breath: Eco Poems has the power to connect us with forgotten places within the soul.
This is Cassandra’s debut anthology and reviewers have said, that like the title of the book, her poems are so beautiful and heartbreaking they simply take your breath away. Cassandra O'Loughlin was born and raised in the Hunter. She completed a PhD in English Literature at the University of Newcastle, is currently a Conjoint Fellow in the School of Humanities and Social Science and is a tutor with Hunter Writers Centre.
