Family Life Photographs
Family Portrait: This family portrait was taken at the Doré Studio here in Maitland. George Kedwell was a photographer in Maitland between the years of 1896 – 1900.
Baby in a Pram circa 1907: These children are Athelstan James and Ida Vera Weston. William Weston the photographer was the children’s uncle. James Snr. Weston bought 640 acres of land in the Parish of Heddon in 1856 which is now the town of Weston.
Children in a Tree circa 1900 - 1920: This image was taken at Windy Station (near Quirindi) N.S.W. Windy Station was owned by the Australian Agricultural Company. These are Richard and Hannah Ogden’s children. Richard was manager of the Station from 1895 to 1930 and was William Henry Weston’s brother-in-law.

The Kawicki Family at Greta Migrant Camp – The Kawicki family (Wladyslaw, Jadwiga and infant daughter Krystyna) came to Australia from Poland as World War 2 displaced persons. They arrived in Greta in 1955 and left in 1959. Wladyslaw and Jadwiga's family grew to six children. Their youngest son, Chez was born in Maitland
