Whilst the library is more than just books, we do have a great collection of books for you to read including latest releases and literary classics in both print and eBooks.

Search our online catalogue to find an author, title or subject and where it is located.

Or if you like the thrill of browsing our shelves then make sure you pop in and visit us at one of the local branches. We can even help you find authors who write just like your favourite author or style of story.  

If eBooks are more convenient, you're in luck as you will find a library full of titles in the catalogue. Simply search and select from thousands of titles to download and read on your personal device. 

Downloading eBooks

It's easy to choose and read an eBook whenever and wherever you want, from our growing collections of new and classic titles. Choose from any or all of the following

1. Login to Borrow Box or ePlatform. Just have your Library card number and password handy.  If you are wondering what your password is, it's normally your date of birth in the format DDMMYY

2. You can now also log in to the new Hunter Libraries Portal. if you are visiting for the first  time you will need to register to get a user name and password.

3. Search the collection or just select from the  display of recommended titles.

4. Download and  begin reading.

You can choose to read eBooks on any mobile device. Just go to the Apple Store or Google Play to locate BorrowBox, ePlatform or RBDigital and download the app onto your device.
